Its good that the From GI got sparked cause as funny and reminiscent as they are there are some common threads that maybe the younguns can learn from to realize what GI used to be like. Most of the comments make references to viable and reputable BUSINESSES, innocent and nondeadly YOUTH ACTIVITIES, positive MENTOR FIGURES, graduating class of 400 plus SCHOOLS with teachers who had taught your Mother and Aunts, NEIGHBORHOODS where generations had been raised up in.... All that I put in CAPS was the foundation of Gary and what I would like to see return someday...
