Its good to see the federation encouraging a discussion about the current rules around weighing fish. Personaly, Id like to see more clubs accepting fish below a certain percentage (say 60-75% spec) based on the anglers word, a picture and a whitness. At least this gives them the chance to release fish if they wish. But i think anything recorded with the county (over 75%) should still have to be weighed on official scales. Another thing thats worth looking at are some of the club and county trophies- Id like to see many of the multiple fish trophies binned and replaced with catch and release trophies. So club anglers, what are your thoughts on this?
