Its hard to describe the emotions weve had during this fire, but one thing remains constant: We break down just a bit every time we see fire fighters and emergency workers. We have now seen some of the devastation to the forest, and while our lot was primarily spared, the vicinity now has long-term scars. We live where we do specifically to be close to nature, and to see that very thing ravaged is difficult to take. This video may allow some of you who arent personally impacted to get a sense of what a lot of us have seen and felt--good and bad.
