Its here. For years Ive been telling friends that speeding or any kind of shenanigan-style driving in cars will be monitored and/or restricted in vehicles very soon. Some car manufacturers have speed restriction, location tracking/monitoring, engine monitoring, etc. built-in to some models. Some insurance providers provide you with a similar device to track and prove youre a good driver. miaLinkup will work with any/most cars created after 1995. I reckon its a handy tool to better understand the diagnostics of your car. If you have a shared car (kids, partner), then I advise being very careful with tracking others whereabouts. Very little good can some from Why where you at X? kind of questions. I give this technology about a 10-year lifespan since driverless/autonomous cars will take over in that time.
