Its here!! The information you have been waiting for!! :) The PWOC fall semester Bible studies are set to begin soon!! You are invited to meet the 2014-2015 Board Members, sign up for a Bible study and meet some friends!! We will meet at 9 AM on August 27th at Vickers Park on Hickam. Studies will begin the following Wednesday Sept 3rd. Bible Studies!! We are very pleased to announce the studies that we are offering!! This year will look a bit different than in the past. Each study will remain open until the rooms reach max capacity. We have potential to have 29 people in each study. In the past studies have closed due to using smaller capacity rooms. The four studies we are offering will not close, but we do have a limited number of books offered for free. The first 19 people to sign up for a study will get a reserved copy. However, the study will not close after 19 seats are filled. The study will remain open and you will be able to still sign up and purchase the book on your own from the supplier of your choice. We will provide a list of resources and Scholarships are available for those in need. (Please see a board member for scholarship opportunities.) Here are the studies being offered this Fall! 1.Unglued by Lysa TerKeurst 2.Beautiful Mess by Tracey Eyster and Sherry Surratt 3.Becoming Myself by Stasi Eldredge 4.Love Walked Among Us:Learning to Love Like Jesus by Paul Miller *If you have any questions about the studies or how to sign up please email Cheryl at hickampwoc@gmail :) CHILDRENS MINISTRY CO-OP Your PWOC Board has spent a lot of time in prayer and this year we will be trying something new! So, what is the Children’s Ministry Co-Op? A Co-Op is an organization that is ran by those who use it. Who will be using it? You will! So, we will work together to offer a great ministry opportunity to the children who will attend, your children! There will be a few requirements in order to be a participant in the CMC, one being that you will be required to serve a minimum set number of days during the semester, which runs September through December. Once we have final numbers of mom to volunteer ratios, after sign ups, we will inform you of the set number. Please note that during your service time in CMC you will be missing your personal Bible Study. We are offering the following classes: Nursery (mobile-24 months), 2s & 3s, 4s & 5s, and a home schoolroom for children ages 6-13. There will be a limited number of spots available for all classes. If we are able to find a few more women who would like to facilitate a CMC class, then we would love to open up some more spots, allowing us to minister to more children! Until then, we will offer a waitlist and will release spots as they become available. If you feel that teaching a CMC class is something you might be interested in, we would love to have you join our team! It will take place at Vickers Park at 9:00am. Registration for CMC will begin at 9:15am, we will have a clearly marked table! Upon completing “short registration,” you will have secured a spot for your child! You will receive a packet of information, these forms must be returned on Sept 3rd in order for you to drop off your children at their CMC class.
