Its impossible to live and sustain a quality life under todays economic crisis. Congress continual refusal to work and pass legislation with our current administration and the lack of having a financial plan or a strategy that is needed. Wealthy people dont become wealthy from selling products they become wealthy from having a plan or strategy that once in place will position to purchase homes and investments. We fail ourselves and families by not properly planning for our retirment years after our working years. A person who makes 70K a year during there working years would need 700 thousand to live off of during there retirement years. This can only be accomplished by having an ideal cashflow strategy and understanding the tax laws. According to the IRS 80% of our working americans incorrectly fill out there W4 resulting in an overpayment of taxes throughout there working year. If i had a clear understanding during my 22 years of service in the US Army (afer making 450K) i would have been able to retire and not work another job once i had gotten out. However, it is never to late and learn how to adjust your wages and earn an additional $400 monthly. Use that to eliminate debt and purchase assets (Homes) and investments by changing your mindset!
