Its lasagne Tuesday! A lesson in delayed gratification for my daughter Megan. She wanted to order a slice from a cafe on Sunday. I told her that if she waited a few days, we will make it at home and she can have a few slices! She was smart enough to choose the latter! For todays lasagne, we made fresh pasta using 4 eggs and 400g plain flour. Instead of the normal minced beef, I pressure cooked Oxtail and used the shredded meat and beef stock to make the sauce. I used Gruyere instead of Cheddar for the cheese sauce. Next round I am going to try shortribs!
