Its late and Im reflecting on how awesome social media is. My world has gotten exponentially bigger, and I have made some incredible, lifelong friends on Facebook. We get together, meeting for the first time to conquer races, to break bread and share a meal, or to celebrate huge milestones in life. Yes, I was invited to a wedding of a Facebook friend and I went. It was wonderful, like Id known him and his wife all their lives. I have loved reading all of my life. As a child I wished that the great characters from the stories could come to life. I realize now that they can, and they do, via Facebook. The wonderful characters of my social media life step off the pages and into my real world and it is amazing. Ive always surrounded myself with good, positive people, and this is no exception.
