Its looking like surgery will be in the morning. if anything changes, i will let everyone know. i apologize for the back and forth information. i post it as i receive it and this is a more difficult process than what we all expected. without going into a whole lot of details, a heart cannot be harvested from the donor until the kidneys, lungs, eyes, and liver also have recipients. when that has been taken care of, the organs are taken. not all of this donors organs have recipients yet and this seems to be the hold up. thank you all for your prayers and i cannot stress enough that in the midst of our joy, please let us not forget about the loss. i wish i could name each and every one of you personally, but i want you all to know my family and i.... and brian, michele and reagan appreciate the prayers and support more than you could ever know.
