Its moments like these I feel so far away, To feel so far and rejected, God I beg that You stay! So in rags of earthly glory I lay, Smile and pretend while saying Come what may! Heed my warning... This mask will fall, And though you feel tall, The emotion is fleeting. The hurt we hide help the demons reside, Where your flesh and soul are meeting, We fall sometimes, So we make up rhymes, Just for clarity and reasoning. But can I confess that Im still a mess? That there is something Im not seeing... How I feel strong for the moment, But it quickly loses meaning! All fall short... He says trying to give me comfort, But the demons inside are tge ones I fight, And they come against within my court, Look at what you have done! Just today youve let Him down! As they continue their rants I began to drown... They laughed and mocked at my relentlesd failure, Something they didnt catch... I was drowning in the peace of my Savior... I began to speak, and I wasnt sweet, And thatw when He brought me to my feet. I said ... Jesus gives me grace, even when the need is on repeat... So with all His authority I told them to take a seat. I will fail but I will also rise, No limit to the heat. I fail and fall but thats not all, I am training to die. To die to myself everyday and quit living the lie. This world will pass and as it does our spirits shall last! Get to heaven saying how life went by so fast. However, that is a whole other set if words to cast... Okay...
