Its more humid, and where the sun is out, its actually a bit hot because of the heat/humidity combination. There are a few showers and even a couple of storms on radar but they are widely scattered and your chances of getting wet arent great but you certainly have a fair shot at it. July was nice but it was also one of the most dry Julys weve had in the past 100 years. Thankfully, it wasnt one of the hotter ones! We had several shots of relatively cool Canadian air. This week looks to be mostly warm (if not hot), and dry, for the most part. As always this time of the year, we may see some isolated to widely scattered storms from time to time. Right now Bertha is holding her on as she moves west-northwest throughout the Caribbean. An eventual turn to the NE is expected and from there, most model data indicates that Bertha will recurve and miss the US. Still, the system needs monitored closely.
