Its not funny when I have to feed two small chhs TCM meds in the form of three capsules twice a day. Thats why you have been seeing me experiment with different ways of feeding the meds: syringing, hiding in food, pill buddies, pill masker...etc. Been paranoid about pilling them (direct insert capsule into the back of mouth) ever since a near choking incident with Sasha. But thankfully I have re learnt to do it again. Now I do not push it too far back, just to the side of the mouth, a little to the back. Then close the mouth and offer some yummy food so that they will quickly swallow the capsule in order to eat the food. Note: do get your vet to show you how to do this if you are doing it for the first time. VIDEO BOMB by none other than MM!
