Its not like I was around to see things first hand but as someone looking back 40 years later songs like this really seem like the transition point from oldies rock to classic rock. It still had the vocal harmonies of bands like the Beatles but had the whaling guitars of the heavier stuff of the 70s. I heard this song at a pizza shop in New York, as a Winnipegger, youre never sure how big a band they were until something like that happens
