Its not only the lies the tri-fecta have told that bothers me, its the insult to my friends that offends me. These guys will NEVER be trusted to tell the truth again. When you see them in the halls and they have the gumption to say anything in passing, do not believe the words leaving their mouths. I believe in the brotherhood of man, all men, but I dont believe in brotherhood with anybody who doesnt want brotherhood with me. I believe in treating people right, but Im not going to waste my time trying to treat somebody right who doesnt know how to return the treatment and uses lies to belittle my friends. History teaches us that unity is strength, and cautions us to submerge and overcome our differences in the quest for common goals, to strive, with all our combined strength, for the path to true brotherhood and unity. I cherish all of you who stand with me in support of our true brothers and sisters Don Bales is slandering. Brotherhood means laying down your life for somebody, really willing to sacrifice yourself for somebody else. Bales and Sampson do not live by ethical and moral characteristics because they are out for themselves. What makes me sick is they have to make up lies to tear down others. They use media outlets to belittle their boss and coworkers- people who used to call them friend. I remember several years ago, Bales had petitions signed and t-shirts made to support the chief when others were trying to get him fired. After the chief thanked him for his brotherhood support, Bales drove a knife in his back and is using Sampson to shove it in even further. If we desire a society in which men are brothers, then we must act towards one another with brotherhood. If we can build such a society, then we would have achieved the ultimate goal of human freedom. The Son of God became incarnate in the souls of men to instill the feeling of brotherhood. All are brothers and all children of God. We all know what will happen in the end to those who create false images of their brothers to tear them down. Above all things let us never forget that mankind constitutes one great brotherhood; all born to encounter suffering and sorrow, and therefore bound to sympathize with each other. The opportunity for brotherhood presents itself every time you meet a human being. What you do after that person turns their back dictates whether or not you can be called brother by that person. Surely the day will come when color means nothing more than the skin tone, when religion is seen uniquely as a way to speak ones soul, when birth places have the weight of a throw of the dice and all men are born free, when understanding breeds love and brotherhood.
