Its not rocket science. Deal with the Bundy rancher who wont pay his taxes according to the law. Deal with these right wing gun nuts and would be cop killers and widow makers according to the law. No debate needed. No hand wringing. Apply the damn law already. Because if we dont, there will be more deaths. Not applying the law is inviting violence. The take away lesson from the Bundy ranch stand-off at this point is that law enforcement will back off if you brandish your gun. The Vegas cop killers were emboldened by their experience at the Bundy ranch. Thats where federal law enforcement issued licences to kill to every would be right wing terrorist. Pull those licenses right now. Apply the law to Bundy. You had no problem putting Wesley Snipes and Lauryn Hill away for tax evasion. Apply the law, darn it.
