Its only when youre in the state of pain that you realize how lucky you were to be feeling all right in the first place. But then there is some other part of you that thinks it was too boring. Feeling nothing at all. Nothing bothering you. Nothing that makes you feel you are alive. And the next thing you know, youre looking at the wound. A stream of blood pouring out of it. You look at it and grin. Greeting it like an old friend...
