Its our last night of a grueling 8 week schedule. Im amazed to see the progress in some of these kids over just 2 months. You can easily see who the dominant personalities are, and who the jocks are. Kayley may not be in the jock category just yet. But shes come a long way. Week 1 she wouldnt leave the bench and it took about 4 weeks before she would chase the ball around without crying to mom or dad on the sidelines. Tonight shes running with her team and actually watching the ball. Tonight shes got an assist (unintentional Im sure) and she either scored her first goal or bounced it off the inside of the post (I missed the instant replay lol). As Im typing this I noticed it was shift change and the coach actually had to drag her OFF the field. What a difference 8 weeks makes. This is what kids sports are all about!
