Its quite funny - at 7:30 this morning, my phones weather gizmo said fog... so whatta we got? We got a pure, pristine, pale sapphire sky, overlaid with the finest, lightest, mother of pearl hazy dusting imaginable - but fog? Where is this mythical fog you speak of, Mr. Phone Weatherman? Never mind, then - its a good job I only report what I see... and that is a morning of fragile beauty, cool, still, clear and calm - the cool breezes of yesterday have faded away - such a godsend, they were, in the 25C sunshine... There are still occasional sighs to ruffle a few leaves in desultory fashion, so light that they may be only the effect of the myriad golden wings of the insect life, winking in the already strong sunlight dappling the garden below, which is indeed exploding into multi-coloured, spectacular life - there are still some blossoms to come, but theres more than enough to keep the bees happy for the moment... Our resident Wren is about, too - darting from branch to branch in the golden sunshine, pausing only to belt out his favourite hit single: Oi you - get orff my patch! - with the volume cranked up to 11... So alls well, then, and set fair for another glorious day... perhaps I should go fog-hunting... ;¬}
