Wednesday Quesnel RCMP responded to a reported roll over collision involving a logging truck at Brownmiller Road and McLeod Road. The 30-year-old male driver, a Quesnel resident, and lone occupant of the vehicle was trapped within the cab of the truck. Assistance from Quesnel Highway Rescue, British Columbia Ambulance Service and Quesnel Fire Department was requested and the driver was extracted from the vehicle and transported to GR Baker Hospital in Quesnel with undetermined injuries. Police investigation reveals that the loaded logging truck was entering a local mill when it appears that the load shifted causing the truck to roll over. The vehicle in question has been towed for further police investigation which will check the mechanical worthiness of the vehicle. The investigation continues.
