Its sad that I end up posting something like this every year because of the downright ignorance and downright rudeness of people. I am a very very proud Pagan and I do not say another person religion is not as good as mine. I do not look down on anyone for having a different religion than me. My sons godmothers are both Christian women. One is becoming a minister (correct me if Im wrong Katie). What really bothers me is people tell me I cant celebrate Christmas because its all about Christ. Well its actually not. Like the video says most of the things you celebrate are based around Pagan celebrations pre dating Christ. I am not saying that you have to celebrate something different because I claim this holiday to be my own. Im saying to actual learn about what other people celebrate instead of being down right rude and saying I will say Merry Christmas to you and I dont care. I will just say blessed Yule and walk away. Stop fighting about who is right and wrong and just celebrate with your family. And for one second stop being rude to others celebrating different holidays. This time of year is about giving to others and its not about one person being right and one person being wrong. I celebrate Yule but I also celebrate Christmas with my loving husband and child along with my wonderful parents. Too many people dont have that. No one is better than anyone else. All I ask is for everyone to be kind to others and respectful of what they celebrate. I am and its not hard to do. Blessed Yule to everyone.
