Its sad that sometimes it takes a catastrophe to happen to the majority of us individuals for people like myself to actually realize the values and morals in life! My life that is. I wish I lived in a word with no property, no tears of heart ache but only joy, no violence! Only if I knew then what I know now I wouldve been a way better person growing up in a way better place. As a Yong mother back then I knew that I had to give up my youth and focus on becoming a responsible loving supportive mother. But what I didnt know was.. How was I going to play that role when I was barely learning how to take in the role of a teenager.. But as I grew with my daughter I began to see how important it was to show her how important she is..how important it is to take school seriously.. and how Important it is to live and enjoy your youth..and the importance of loving your self for who you are. Now that shes gone! Im lost cause as i was teaching her she was teaching me as well.. But I came to realize that the weak grow weary.. Im not a weak woman/mother..I will continue to teach my son and my daughter how to be respectable, smart, independent, loving and how to help others not only in the time of need but in the time of living! Just like their sister nevaeh... My message to all the young mothers out there is to show your kids about the values of their life, how important is to not worry about the next pair of Js that are coming out or the newest Michael kors purse that came in..but how important it is to know how to read, write, do mathematics & spell correctly.. to know what its like to really want something and know what its like to finally get it. The importance of staying grounded with the lord and spreading the gospel! After all our children are our future!!!
