Its so disappointing and embarrassing to give amazing employees terrible news. I believe the answer to the companys question of why they cant seem to retain their employees is pretty obvious. There should ALWAYS be a merit based raise possibility not just because you put in X amount of hours. They say its how to be fair. So basically, they only want people who can do enough to not get fired, put in a certain amount of hours and then give them 15¢ more just because you showed up...and if you decide to bust your ass and do twice as much work, which is now expected from you...well...as long you show up for the same amount of hours, youll get 15¢ also. See ya after you work 786 more hours for 15¢ more...
