Its that time of year! Even Flu shot scare mongering on the radio. Be kinder to your immune system by finding an alternative way. Ive been working around a lot of bugs this week, and have protected myself diligently. Heres how. 1: Lots of Green tea. 2: Increased my vitamin C supplement to 3000mg a day. 3: Skin brushing twice a day, using a brush, brush skin, moving toward the heart. For arms: Brush from palms toward armpits. For legs: Brush from soles of feet and move up, working with swift, firm strokes. 4: Self Massage: Slide fingers just beneath jaw to locate tiny, pearl-shaped lymph nodes. With fingers right against the bone, pump the nodes with gentle yet firm pressure. Repeat up to every few hours. Place a tennis ball in your armpit, and gently pump your arm into your side body. Its also a time that Im busiest in clinic with sore backs. My most common find is COLD ARSES. If your glutes (buttocks) are chilly, then there will be tension in the pelvis (chilly willy too) and this will make your back tense, and youll sneeze or do something seemingly inconsequential and put your back out.. so GRANNY PANTS PEOPLE.
