Its the eve of jacks birthday. I find myself doing a mummy in law Anneke Antoinette Marianne Woodhouse and thinking of the events leading up to his birth. I remember being full of a cold and a baby, feeling apprehensive knowing he was going to be a c section the next day, 3.5 weeks early. 12 years on Im full of a cold again but looking forward to my little lad turning 12. Im so very grateful to be his mum. He has made the last few months brighter than they should be with his kindness of spirit and his generosity of thought. Showing maturity and insight beyond his years. When hes 57 and allowed to marry he will make some lucky girl an amazing husband.
