Its time for some TRUTH - I get a little frustrated by the myth that you can get a proper sustainable business (sustainable meaning you know you have money, you know you have clients) In 3 months or 6 months ..... YES you might get some money in - but its sporadic .... I dont know ANYONE who has done it without a couple of YEARS of work, (even if your business has evolved) of doing things with consistency, with keeping focused on what they are doing, without getting out there and finding clients, without screwing it up (once or twice or several times) - without having days when they think GOD why on EARTH dont I just go and get a 9-5 .... before realising that their vision and mission is more important Now dont get me wrong I DO believe in miracles, Im not saying that you cant turn your business AROUND in 90 days and have some great success .... but I guess my message is give yourself a reality check - If youre in your first year of business GREAT - keep going the clients and money will come if youre doing the right thing - If youre in your second year of business AWESOME - well done for keeping going , its time to get organised and turn up the tempo now - If youre in your third year of business - you TOTALLY rock and its time for the good times to roll - Anything more than that and youve mastered it ! It might be messy - you might feel overwhelmed but youre doing something right to keep going that long Id love to hear youre thoughts on this - whether youve made it or if youre still working your way there .... does this feel true for you?
