Its time to fill your calendar with volunteer events. (And keep checking back for more quick links throughout the season!) The holidays provide the perfect chance for folks to volunteer. The annual Basket of Joy event was started in 1988 by Denver Post columnist Woody Paige. There are FOUR different ways to volunteer for this event! (Set for December 13th). The Denver Rescue Mission offers a plethora of ways to help serve the mile high community. Serve a meal, help cook a meal, mentor and more.
