Its time to get back home :-) And here is my Shanghai Diary: 1) life without facebook was not bad at all. But not sure if I can say the same about life without google! Last seven days, I constantly saluted our forefathers who made everything possible without any help of google. 2) The main 4 awards of Shanghai were won by two senior gentlemen of world cinema- Volker Sclondroff (Tin Drum n Lost honour of Katharina Bloom famed) and Panderis Voulgris from Gernany and Greece respectively. We knew this would be very heavy on them (both gentlemen are over 70) to carry this many trophies. So we wanted to win some and make their life lighter. But the juries had other plans ;-) 3) It was a great festival experience here. The audience and the critics were amazing. You might get a glimpse of the cities preparation for the festival. 4) the young loosers are never short of spirit. Have a look at the after party photos. Here we all loosers were having fun flashing a v sign. Oh there was one winner among us. He was from Keira Nightley and Mark Ruffalo starrer James Carneys film Begin Again. 5) Lastly, my festival experience was nicely wrapped up with two of the juries amazing words at the after party. Yes sometimes you might not win anything, but there is heart to win :-) Hopefully we will see a future collaboration in my upcoming projects with one of these two great guys :-) Lastly after lastly: I am itching to release Piprabidya ( Ant Story ) as soon as possible.
