Its time to update. Today was school and occupational therapy. He had 2 therapies at school and one at home he has been a very busy little boy. I have joined a great group of women and mothers. The group is mommy matters. When I left Mark Isaac at school he was upset and it upset me. Im so glad I was able to be around women who understand and pray for each other. Today was occupational therapy and Mr Jim worked on fine motor skills. He was helping Mark Isaac thread ribbon through the holes. He has tried this off and on for 6 months and there has been no interest. Today he sat and focused hard using his 2 fingers to grip. He did the very thing the drs specifically said he would not be able to do. He gripped with 2 fingers. It may sound small but it is so important gripping and writing. He is tested every six months and just by glancing over his last scores and looking at his accomplishments he has improved so much. He came up six months in age level according to his accomplishments. We will find out in a few weeks exactly what age level his is operating on. I was so excited that he had closed his age gap by 6 months. He said if we were scoring cognitively he would be up there . He looked at Mark and I and said his brain is totally rewiring. The same words we have been hearing from different people. Its happening before our eyes weekly. There may come a few setbacks with sickness here and there but he makes up for it. He was very tired tonight. I could tell his brain had really worked. He is my superhero and he is charging his brain with sweet sleep.
