Cant sleep, woke up thinking of poor Case and failure....my question is if his IQ is high enough to learn to do math and supposedly read, then that must have been his IQ last yr too.....so why is putting him back where he started to fail going to help him. If teaching him phonetically did not work then, how will it work now....maturity, medication, or different way of teaching....His teacher mentioned he was immature, that is NOT my opinion, I think the immmaturity she sees is FAILURE....lack of focus bc he knows he will fail.....Einstein School is at least an hour from here and we do not live in ALACHUA Co. so that is out! I will have to PAY thru the nose bc schools can not offer the same service to a child to teach them to read. Every child must according to their curriculum learn the same way.....America, the GREAT educators have failed us three generations and I intend to put a stop to it somehow....even if I have to sell all I own to do it!!!
