Its true what they say...If ya dont ask ya dont get!! twice in the last 24 hours Ive had to go heads up against some corporate shenanigans and have come out on top both times. Yesterday had a big massive hoo haa with Sky after they migrated my services over to their network and tried to put me into a contract which raised my costs from £16 to £23 a month....Admittedly I was on the phone constantly for nearly two hours between Sky BT and O2 but the bottom line was this......I have now unlimited broadband, unlimited anytime calls, including 0870 and 0845 and line rental at £7.50 per month fixed for the next TWELVE MONTHS!!! Get in there.....:-).....Worth two hours of anybodies time I say. Then this morning, still basking in the glory of yesterdays conquest, I got on the phone to 02 mobile and told them I wanted to upgrade my phone a month and a half early at no additional cost!...the best the girl would offer me was waiver of £28 charge for early upgrade and my contract would go up by a pound!....nearly went for it cos I am really desperate for a decent phone but in the end I held off....Instead I phoned Carphone Warehouse and told the salesman if he could do the deal I wanted, he could have the sale right now........End result?? Tomorrow I take delivery of a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 + A Samsung Tab 3 + Accessory bundle (case screen saver etc) with unlimited calls texts and 5 gig of data on 4g for £2 less than I currently pay per month. He also waived the £28 quid fee!....again I say...GET IN THERE! My name is Mikey LovesChickenlove Rob...I am a consumer warrior of the highest order ;-)
