Its very important to take note of the fact that racially speaking, the Semitic people originate from the same stock as the Europeans. They were the 1st Eurasians to migrate from the north into Western Asia. The main stock of these people are traced back to the Hittites and the Amorites (Martu, Aamu, Amurru). The description of the Amorites from Kemetic paintings were tall, pale skinned, blue-eyed, blonde or brown haired. The Hittites appear in history as essentially white people mixed with black and oriental. As they appear in their own sculptures and Kemetic paintings, they (Hittites) couldnt be told apart from modern day Persians and Armenians. •Iah / Yah• (as in IsaIAH or ZecharIAH) or The papyrus of Ani makes a few references to Yah; some translations say Iah others say Lah.... In Chapter 2: A spell to come forth by day and live after dying. Words spoken by the Ausar Ani: O One, bright as the moon-god Iah; O One, shining as Iah; This Ausar Ani comes forth among these your multitudes outside, bringing himself back as a shining one. He has opened the netherworld. Lo, the Ausar Ani comes forth by day, and does as he desires on earth among the living. Chapter 18: [A spell to] cross over into the land of Amentet by day. Words spoken by the Ausar Ani: Khemenu is open; my head is sealed [by] Djehuti. The eye of Heru is perfect; I have delivered the eye of Heru, and my ornament is glorious on the forehead of Ra, the father of the gods. Ausar is the one who is in Amentet. Indeed, Ausar knows who is not there; I am not there. I am the moon-god Iah among the gods; I do not fail. Indeed, Heru stands; he reckons you among the gods. The high point for the use of the name Iah/Yah can be found following the the Middle Kingdom when many people immigrated from the Levant and the Hyksos ruled Kemet. So its more than likely that contact with the regions of Palestine, Syria, and Babylon were important in the development of this god. Iah was also associated with the Akkadian moon-god, Sin who had an important temple at Harron in Syria. Like Djehuti, Sin was a lunar god of wisdom, but his other titles were Father of the Sun, & Father of Gods. There were people with names dedicated to Iah/Yah such as Sit-Iah (meaning daughter of the god Iah), Iah-Hatap (meaning Iah is satisfied). When Amose, whose actual name was Iah-mose (meaning born of Iah) and his son Kamose ran the Hyksos out of Kemet they founded a city called Jerusalem according to Manetho...... Josephus, the patriotic Jewish historian, who believed that the Hyksos were the children of Israel, quoted Manetho as saying that they were a people of ignoble race who had confidence to invade our country, which they subdued easily without having to fight a battle. They set our towns on fire; they destroyed the temples of the gods, and caused the people to suffer every kind of barbarity. During the entire period of their dynasty they waged war against the people of Egypt, desiring to exterminate the whole race. . . . The foreigners were called Hyksos, which signifies Shepherd Kings. Combine that with Genesis 46:31-34 KJV And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his fathers house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my fathers house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me; And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have. And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation? That ye shall say, Thy servants trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians. •The Shasu• The name Shasu evolved from a transliteration of the Egyptian word š3sw, meaning those who move on foot, into the term for Bedouin-type wanderers from Mt. Sinai. The term first originated in a fifteenth century list of peoples in Transjordan. It was used in a list of enemies inscribed on column bases at the temple of Soleb built by Amenhotep III & copied later by either Seti I or Ramessu II at Amarah-West. The list mentions 6 groups of Shasu: the Shasu of Srr, the Shasu of Rbn, the Shasu of Smt, the Shasu of Wrbr, the Shasu of Pysps, and the Shasu of Yhw. There are 2 Egyptian texts, one dated to the period of Amenhotep III (14th century BCE), the other to the age of Ramessu (Ramses) II (13th century BCE) which refer to Yahu in the land of the Šosū-Bedouins,(t3 š3św jhw3), in which Yahu is a toponym. Regarding the Shasu of Yhw, the hieroglyphic rendering corresponds very precisely to the Hebrew tetragrammaton YHWH, or Yahweh, and antedates the supposed oldest occurrence of that Name – on the Moabite Stone – by over 500 years. The demonym Israel recorded on the Merneptah Stele refers to a Shasu-Hyksos enclave, and that, since later Biblical tradition portrays Yahweh coming forth from Seir the Shasu, originally from Moab and northern Edom, went on to form one major element in the amalgam that was to constitute the Israelites which later established the Kingdom of Israel. The Hyksos were predominantly Amorites. The Shasu were predominantly Hittites. (Both had various mixtures though) We know from Ezekiel 16:1-3 that the Hebrews themselves admit to saying: Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, And say, Thus saith the Lord God unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite. The guttural element of the Hebraic speech comes from the Indo-European language of the Hittites.
