Its with a heavy heart that I have to announce the end of my quest to be elected to the School Board in Milwaukee. Collecting enough signatures to get on the ballot proved to be too difficult in a December full of flu, sickness, and cold weather. Im saddened that I wont have the opportunity to better influence public policy from a legislative standpoint, but I hope to find ways to continue my work as an advocate for parental engagement and public schools.
