Its with great sadness that I advise you that a Wildcats legend Dot Rassip, passed away today.. Dot was an original Wildcat with her dad being the inaugural president of the club, and Dot being a great player, coach and supporter of the club for all its operational years. I had the pleasure of playing basketball, hockey and softball with Dot over the years, and also coached her daughter Heleema. While I was the coach, Dot was the most enthusiastic parent Ive ever known, and would walk from one end of the court to the other cheering, encouraging and passing on my instructions throughout the game - she was a champion, loved and respected by everyone. Dot, youll be sadly missed by all.
