I might be wrong about that, but I’m too young to have a authentic nostalgia so my ‘80s feel might be slightly corrupted. The doorbell would presumably a soundbyte from the movie A Clockwork Orange (film), specifically the doorbell at Mr. Frank Alexanders house, the poor writer who has lost the taste of Gene Kelly’s classic song. The start of the song contains the sample Ever since I was born Ive been trained to serve you, a line from the 1988 moving Coming to America, when Eddy Murphy is presented to his future wife selected by his father James Earl Jones, remeber also the epic line “The royal penis is clean your highness”.
