It’s back! Chennai’s favourite festival of ten minute theatre, Short + Sweet, commenced its fourth season on Saturday at the Alliance Francaise. For the next three weeks, theatre lovers in the city will have the chance to enjoy bite-sized comedy, drama and farce at its finest, all culminating in a gala finale on 27 July. Short + Sweet began as an Australian idea eleven years ago and the Australian Consulate General Chennai is once again the festival’s major sponsor, with the Prakriti Foundation and Blue Lotus handling the logistics.
