It’s become our tradition each year at Christmas to direct generosity to those in the Lakeway area and abroad - Christmas Here & There. This year we’ll be providing shoes for kids in need in our community through a local ministry called, Food on Foot. Each pair of shoes costs around $50 and will last a child throughout the year. If you’d like to give a pair, simply pick up a shoe commitment card and follow the instructions on the card. Hibbett Sports in Jefferson City is our primary supplier for these shoes and will have a list of all the sizes we need to meet our goal of 100 pairs - Just tell them you’re with Arrowhead Church. Then drop off the shoes at Arrowhead anytime on or before December 7. On December 14, we’ll receive a financial offering to help our international mission partners. Once again, we’ll donate to The Rescue Ministries, a long-term partner for us in The Philippines. Many Arrowhead attenders have traveled to this ministry and seen first-hand the gospel impact being made at the Banhaw Home for Youth on the island of Cebu. It’s our privilege to help. In addition, this year we’ll also give toward the Christmas Offering of the International Mission Board, which goes to support nearly 5,000 missionaries worldwide as they seek to reach the world for Christ.
