It’s been three years, today, since I proclaimed my love for Georgia. You have plenty of time to get to know someone over the course of three years. The best part is realizing you’re not tired of the person after you know everything about them. When people talk about adorable ‘high-school sweetheart’ couples we’re the first on everyone’s mind. We’ve been through thick and thin, we’ve been the best of friends and the worst of enemies for one another. We have had those moments of spontaneous romance and moments when it’s just best to go through the motions. We’ve protected each other, while we’ve also had moments of wondering who was going to poison whose drink first. We know each other’s faults and we would, even still, rather roll over and die if we had to go on without the other’s company. We’ve been through the experience of blind love and also through moments when we would challenge and question each other. Through the ups and downs we have been able to maintain a long term and long distance relationship despite the obstacles that doing so has provided. To everyone who looked down on us and said we were too immature and young do deal with a relationship like this…check again. I remember being told by so many that this was a waste of time; that I should move on, that all of this was simply a distraction. But I know that without her in my life I would not be at my peak. She is the most important person in my life and I love that girl, Happy three years sugar.
