It’s been two weeks since Cpl. Kyle Button was on duty at the National War Memorial in Ottawa when a gunman shot and killed his fellow soldier, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo. But, Button hasn’t hesitated to return to his post. It’s something he considers an honor and the terrible events that kept much of the nation’s capital on lockdown, and shocked Canadians across the country, won’t change that. “I wanted to go back… because it’s our job.
