It’s night. Walking away from a friend’s house, we walk - TopicsExpress

It’s night. Walking away from a friend’s house, we walk through the shadows cast by the street lights between lush trees. You beckon me to follow you into the shadows. We steal away behind your neighbor’s lake house. You say you know them well. You assure me its ok. On their deck we breathe in the intoxication of the moon lit scene and see things anew! The lake …the water… the lights…the people… we walk out on to the water, we sit and float on the boat dock… We talk as if we are excited teen agers; we play of each other’s thoughts and desires. We embolden each other with our excitement. As you speak, I gaze into your impish face and your words become distant. Your skin appears to shimmer bathed in cool moon light…I no longer hear your words I feel them, your body, It burns with bluish flames. Slowly your body becomes engulfed in a fire of lunar iridescence dancing across you skin. I don’t even know what you are saying anymore, I watch the flames dance and change hue with the changing of your excitement and tempo. I reach out and touch you. I try to explain, but my words fail me. You laugh at me while you place your hand behind my neck. You pull me to you and kiss me. Was it a simple trick of the moonlight dancing off the water or was it something more? When we are alone and we share our excitement and passion, I pray to the moon and worship you. I see you aflame again. I want to burn with you, Burn, burn me up with your divine excitement. Leave nothing left of me.
