“It’s not as well-lit as the bright lights of the gay ‘bubble’. That extra two minutes down the road was just a little out of their comfort zone. I cant say anything about the club since I obviously never went there, but if there is any grain of truth in the sentiment of that statement in general, then wow... really, Sydney? Two whole minutes? A lot of people have complained that Oxford Street is getting stale and boring, but maybe its a little too much to expect the hot new party to come to you? Maybe its about time the gay scene stretched beyond Oxford Street and/or Newtown. If you arent open minded to something a little bit different then nothing is ever going to change. (Of course, Im speaking generally, not specifically about UNITY - cause like a nasty smell in the club does sound pretty rank so THAT is a valid excuse.)
