It’s not often that I ask for favors, but this time I am – I’m asking everyone to come out to the VFW this Saturday as I take the stage for the 1st time in 16-years with some of my oldest and dearest friends/family as we play about an hour-set starting shortly after 4 PM Saturday Afternoon – Please come on out and show ole’ Hot Rod some love and moral support – I have to admit that this event has opened a Pandora’s Box of sorts – conjuring up memories through the music and the camaraderie of my oldest and dearest family/friends – lots of memories good and bad, so I need my buddies out there – Today has been a very hard and depressing day, and I know that between tomorrow night’s return to the SAWMILL and the chance to Jam with my buddies on Saturday, I’m hoping that I can take these crazy feeling away – 16-years is a long time away from music, which used to be the center of my life before I gave up playing shows and for many years, I couldn’t even pick up a guitar b/c it brought up the wrong kind of memories, but Saturday, all that’s going to change, and I want to share that moment with all my old friends and a host of new ones – Bands will be playing all day and into the night, and there’s NO ADMISSION CHARGE – there will be multiple raffles, and there’s a bar that serves anything you could imagine if that’s your thing – Bands will begin around 2 – We go on shortly after 4, and I want nothing more than to look out and see all my old peeps out there as we do our take of some great rock & roll riffs!!! Its all a fundraiser for my long-time friend and pure-guitar shredder, David Joe Watson. who I will join along with Ricky Lee Stewart--William William Walker aka Red Dog -- Vicky L Biggs, & our drummer for this event, Scotty (sorry, last-name unknown) -- Plus Donald Barnes and his band will also be rocking out with his band, and many more! Todays been a Roller-Coaster of Emotions type of Day -- and Im SO-LOOKING Forward to Tomorrow Nights Wrestling show at TJs SAWMILL in Millersville for Southernallstarwrestling Saw and then to Saturdays Rock-A-Thin Fundraiser for David Joe Watson at the VFW -- So here I am , Asking/begging EVERYONE to come on out to both events -- I really want to see all my peeps at the VFW Saturday on Charlotte Pike -- VFW Post 1970 (Google if you need directions) -- COME OUT FOR AN AWESOME EVENT -- to my wrestling peeps, you can come watch us play and still make your Saturday-Shows --- Friends, I need ya !!!!!!!
