It’s ten to five in the afternoon, outside, there is a blazing sun, and I am watching ‘Enemy at the Gates,’ Jude Law is a very good actor, in the winter, the Soviet, Stalingrad. Before I sit on my couch, with a fan blowing the air massage the legs, and Pepsi, salty crackers, music on meditation, I went to nearby community centre, there was air-conditioning, and spacious, which is rare in local public facility, there were few people, and with the Internet service, only their DVD-ROM didn’t work, and without sound driver installed in their Win7. I read few pages of David Copperfield, and comic books, and logged on the Internet, checked out the Daily Mail, and job hunting, there were plenty of news, but less occupation, the afternoon is soothing but drowsy, the temperature is on Earth’s directing to the sun, I can feel the heat, so is everything. I should be in the water, or should I, before, I would feel restless, but now, I simply sit quietly, consuming energy, and wait for night comes, and to climb hills, sure this is temporary, I still would go for day-time cycling, but build up muscle strength, and the bicycle I am riding, the front crank, chain rings climbing is superb at 24T, but speed is low 42T, I chose to keep this ratio, and also avoid using freewheel’s speed cog, I think it’s 14T, I mainly have 42T on the front and average speed go for rear 28T or 24T I guess, that once I reached the hills, the climbing by 24T on the front and 34T in the rear, I have better ‘output’ without hurting my joints, and so is the chain, personally I think megarange would have chain’s lifespan kept longer, but not sure, Sheldon mentioned in his bicycle instruction, the megarange in Sheldon’s mind, is gonna wear out the bicycle chain sooner, this I still disagree. I had 48T on the front before, the KHS cheaply bought commute model I am riding now, I had 28T in the rear, without the megarange, I found the chain worn out in 3 to 4 months, or the KHS factory equipped chains could be 8 speed? I am suspicious, most Sheldon’s instructions were accurate. So, I plan to watch the movie, once sun sets, I’ll go for cycling, and I seldom lubricate the chain, only after the bicycle was drenched during heavy rain, I’ll wait for next day if dry, will decide to put on new motor oil, just a little; or if the rain continues, I’ll keep the bicycle ‘lubricated’ by rain water, after all, during rainy days, lubricating one’s bicycle, not only pointless, perhaps a fool’s act.
