It’s that time of year again when we look to honor the best in business. We are looking for nominations for our: 2014 Business of the Year Award. If you would like to nominate a business please fill out the attached application and send or email it to our office. You may nominate your business if you feel that you qualify. The deadline for nominations is October 24, 2014. The criteria for Business of the Year are as follows: Evidence of policies and projects that have a positive impact on the community, in terms of, for example, environment, employment, education. Evidence of collaboration between business and community organizations, with clear and measurable benefits to both community and business. A business able to demonstrate outstanding leadership and vision, successful performance against business plan, forward plans for substantial growth and can be inspiration to other businesses. Providing substantial impact on the community giving its size and strength in the marketplace Since 2008, previous business award winners have included: Chalmers & Kubeck North, Westfield State University, Pioneer Valley Railroad, Jen-Coat (Prolamina), Stevens 740 Design, Savage Arms Industries, Dunkin Donuts, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield, and Noble Hospital.
