It’s that’s time of year to give thanks so here is mine. I give thanks for the most important things in my life. My three daughters without them I’m not real sure where life’s highway would have taken me. For those that knew me before kids well let’s say I was a tad bit on the let it hang out kind of person. So I’m thankful for the three of them that enabled me to see things in a better light. I’m thankful for the United States Army. I never thought that 23 years ago when I made that quick decision to enlist that it was the beginning of the most amazing journey that I could ever imagine. It has taught me so many things in life and the importance of striving to be better than you were yesterday. I’m thankful for the leadership that pushed me to pursue an education again those that knew when I was younger, yea not my strong suite. Yet I pressed on and will finish in four weeks, again anyone that knew me when I was young person would have never assumed that I would graduate college lol. Again thankful for my kids and the leadership that I had to motivate me to be better. I’m thankful for so many things in my life I can’t mention them all. I’m thankful for the different friends and Battle Buddy’s over the years; I will never forget any of you. As I prepare to retire from the family that I’ve known for the past 23 years it pains me in many ways. But it’s time for me to move on and pursue something different. Wish you all very Merry Holiday Season and great next year.
