It’s unfortunate that my knees and hips are not cooperating today. There has been a progression to adding a lot more running in our PT sessions… And for whatever reason I am having a heck of a time recuperating between my workouts. ….not the normal kind of running…. Circuit’s of various weights (kettle bells swings, presses, squats, etc) for two minutes followed by 400 yard intervals of running in the grass. Took the entire day off from everything…and still my joints are just aching… I absolutely “know” that if I go to my session today, it will put me back three more days. So….the plan is to go to Knottsberry hill (A large sledding hill) beside my house and walk up and down it for 45 minutes…. That should get the juices flowing. The key to continuing while you’re older is to have several options or plan “B”’s… There are going to be aches and pains…just comes with the territory. It appears I am at a crossroads and I need to make some executive decisions on how to proceed with my training. Kickboxing, Caveman, Weightlifting/Bodybuilding, Running,…. Got to be honest….You have to focus on one…all are VERY, VERY unique training methodologies. Next week the GYAITG Couch to 5k starts…. Really excited about getting going on that…. I will post the actual work out later …maybe tonight…just to give you feel for what it looks like. Going to get myself a pair of fitted running shoes…hopefully that takes care of the issues I am currently experiencing during my PT sessions. Another day of making ourselves proud~GYAITG~
