Ive already done some fabrics research im going to use for my dragon age inquisitor costume. Constructed the silk brocade pattern I need to print on satin - only need to wait for the colour test swatch so I can choose the right blue color for it. It should fit best to the blue of my dupion silk. And I ordered test swatches of blue satin I could possibly use. I just cant decide about the brownish grey colour for the pants yet : / There are also two swatches of jaquard that I could possibly use instead for that dales loden pattern (Im not gonna use real loden - id melt away in summer having this fabric for a shirt under a leather coat haha). And tbh the haptic is for me more imortant than the optic somehow. And that dales looks like it has some 3D haptic to me. Just to print the normal pattern on cotton wouldnt be cool at all. Well maybe ill choose the royal sea silk at the end instead of that loden. (Gosh I already know every ingame fabric you can find in da:i by heart and most of you might think know what is she talking about? :,D) Ill make the coat out of black nappa leather since the darkbrown one I wanted to have is way too expensive. Im so glad im already planning this now - the making process of this one is going to be a looong one... Anyways: 98 like so far. Thank you all!! 2 to go!
