Ive always been a big fan of the Blue Dragon Childrens Foundation and its an honour to have been actively involved with them for the last ten years: Restaurant Bobby Chinn has moved location and evolved over the years. While it still serves up my signature blend of Vietnamese cuisine with a twist, the venture is now so much more due to a partnership with Blue Dragon Childrens Foundation (bluedragon.org/), a non-profit organisation devoted to empowering disadvantaged young people. With education at the heart of everything they do, Blue Dragon sets out to transform the lives of the poorest children and families. The kids come from many backgrounds, but all are in difficult circumstances and need a chance to make a change. Restaurant Bobby Chinn has actively supported Blue Dragon for the last ten years, training young chefs and front of house staff, giving them tangible skills that will let them live independently and enhance their employment prospects. The next time you eat at the restaurant, you can be sure that young trainees have been involved in every stage of the production of your meal. And that should make it taste even better.
