Ive always thought that the primary role of the executive branch was to enforce and administer the laws of the land (in defense of the constitution). How is it then that the chief executive can now circumvent a law of this magnitude (and not just any law - his baby) and openly state that they will now allow non-compliant, technically-illegal health plans to continue - but will do so not by re-writing the law but instead by selective administration and enforcement of the law?... Maybe Im just not remembering my 8th grade civics lessons progressively enough.
