Ive always thought the stereotypical fainting/swooning woman at Obamas speeches were contrived at best and probably orchestrated. While watching the fainting pregnant woman at the Rose Garden speech this week I wondered how on earth the President knew to turn around at that precise moment. Well, wonder no more. Watch the video and keep your eye on the lady on the left (of the screen) of the fainting woman. She visibly gets a signal from the audience, mouths okay, nudges the pregnant woman who then starts teetering, the President turns around, and the woman who passed the signal starts smiling at the President - all without ever once even looking at the pregnant lady who is in distress right next to her.
