Ive always watched the Boston Marathon around Mile 8. I always marveled how far ahead the African guys were even so early into the race. Just for fun my prediction for the mens race is Tilahun Regassa from Ethiopia, for no particular reason other than I root for Ethiopia over Kenya and I like the guys back story. On the Womens side, Im going with Shalane Flanagan because of the local bias and the fact that she is one of the four American marathoners with the talent, toughness, and process to have a shot at winning a marathon.
